Knights of Templar Sword-Made by Ames Mfg. in Chicopee MA-Absolutely spectacular gold gilted finish throughout the hilt and scabbard. The pommel has on one side has ominous skull and crossbones and the reverse has the cross symbolizing the Knights of Templar. Solid celluloid handle with engraved motif on both the obverse and reverse. I cannot begin to describe the ornamentation on the scabbard so please take the time to carefully obverse the photos. The entire piece measures 34 ½” long, and the blade measures 25”. Both the scabbard and the blade have the name of the owner which is Charles E. Foster. The double engraved blade is in perfect condition and is identified to Charles Foster who was the commander of the Woonsocket Order #24 Knights of Templar. This comes in a brown leather case that has a different name on it, so they did not originally come together. Outstanding looking example! US SALES ONLY
