Kriegsmarine Foul Weather Jacket and Pants-Each piece in this set is in fantastic condition, possibly even unissued. Starting with the coat, which has a five button closure with all of the gilt finished, navy anchor buttons present (except for one but we will include one!) and maker marked by Assmann with the size, 24m and Qualitats as well. There is a fantastic embossed eagle with M for Kriegsmarine on the right breast area. This is extremely pronounced and impressive looking, the first time I have encountered one like this. There are waist pockets and a single breast pocket on the wearers left side. There are adjustable cuffs, each having the same button as the closure. The interior is fully lined in dark grey wool which is excellent. There is a single pocket inside, on the wearers right side. The neck has a maker tag. The maker is listed as “Hela” Beruskleidung of Kiel. The size is listed as 50. The coat is a size medium. The pants are produced in the same black leather. There are hip pockets and even the original black leather suspenders are present. There is a four button fly with a metal hook at loop at the waist. There is a cinch strap at the back. The interior is fully lined in light grey cloth. There is a tag on the inside which has the maker info as well as the size (50) and date of production, listed as 6/39. The maker is “Hela” Beruskleidung of Kiel as well. The waist is a size 36 and the legs are 40" long. Excellent!
