SCARCE WW2 German Luftwaffe Tropical Trousers-These were known to have been used by paratroopers. They are produced in soft, lightweight tropical tan cloth. There is very minor discoloration and some mildew staining as well. The lower legs have straps and aluminum buckles. There are slash type hip pockets and a pair of rear pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a large exterior pocket on the left leg as well. There is a four button fly with an additional two buttons at the waist, The buttons are tan bakelite. There is a built in waist belt of the same material. There is an aluminum buckle for the belt. The interior reinforcements and pocket bags are heavy duty white cloth. There is a number stamped inside which looks like 136. The length is 35” and the waist is a size 32. Very rare!
