Swiss Model 18/40 Helmet-While it is true that Switzerland remained neutral for the two world wars, that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have a helmet for their troops. This example is in steel with a dark grey finish that has a slight rough texture to it, of course for camouflage purposes. This finish remains mostly intact. The interior has the original, Germany inspired three pad leather liner with three ring liner band. There is minor wear and discoloration to the liner. The drawstring is a present but very worn. The chinstrap is a bit fragile. There is an old white bakelite tag with the name “Ineichen, Otto” and a number on the back. Good condition!
