Swiss Model 1914 Sawback Pioneer Bayonet- This is a massive edged blade measuring approximately 25 inches in length. The steel hilt fittings show light wear but have no damage. The wooden grip plates are in excellent condition. The scabbard retains a remarkable 98% of its original parkerized finish. The sawback blade is in near excellent condition with only slight discoloration. It is marked “Waffenfabrik” and was made in Neuhausen. It also has its short leather hanger. Desirable piece.
