Third Reich German Model 1940 Police Double Decal Helmet-This example has a field grey finish that is mostly intact. The left side has a bordered police shield that is nearly fully intact. The right side has a party shield which is worn but still ok. The tan leather, size stamped 56 liner is in fine condition, remaining very soft and supple. There is very minor wear and discoloration only. There is writing on the lining in a few spots. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. The rear skirt of the interior is stamped Q 64 indicating production by Quist in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number T 371. There is a chinstrap that is in fine condition but has turned a weird color that appears to be almost green. A near excellent example!
