Third Reich Land Customs Visor Cap, Veteran Family Acquisition-This great example was purchased directly from the family of the veteran who brought it back. We will provide the information that we have to the buyer. It has a body of field grey wool that is excellent. There is green piping around the top panel as well as on the edges of the dark green badge cloth center band. The insignia is zinc and missing the finish but still looks great. There is a black patent leather chinstrap with black buttons. The buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. The visor is black vulkanfibre which has minor fading only. The underside is orange brown finished and smooth. The interior is fully lined in orange brown cloth. It is as new. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield which is fully intact. It has the maker info for Clemens Wagner of Braunschweig. The sweatband is orange brown ersatz leather and in fine condition aside from being very stiff. The cap is a size stamped 57 1/2. A near excellent example overall!
