The first armband is a wool NSKOV armband in navy blue wool. There are two silver flatwire tresses, one on the top and one at the bottom. In the center is the embroidered NSOV at the top, with Gau Tirol Vorarlberg at the bottom. Someone has placed an NSKOV pinback pin in the center of this. The pin has lost the majority of its silver finish; some remains near the lower portion of the emblem. It is interesting that the Reichsgau Tyrol-Vorarlberg was an NSDAP administrative province (Reichsgau). It was created from Austrian territories after the 1938 \u003ci\u003eAnschluss\u003c\/i\u003e. It included Vorarlberg and North Tyrol, lasted until 1945, and was led by the official Gauleiter Franz Hofer. There are two original safety pins still attached to this armband. The next armband is a Veteran’s Reichskriegerbund Armband. This is a black wool armband that displays the BeVo veteran’s insignia. This is for a member of the Nationalsozialistiches Reichskriegerbund, or NS-RKB, which was the War Veterans Association. The armband is very clean, and free of moth damage. The NS-RKB emblem is machine woven and separately applied. There is an original safety pin still attached to this armband. These are both sewn onto a piece of white canvas like material for display purposes. They may have been framed, as they are free from moth damage, and are still very clean looking.
