Uniforms, Organization and History of the Afrikakorps by Roger James Bender & Richard D. Law-This is a first edition, published in 1973. This 255 page hardcover is becoming harder to find. This book is well researched and provides an in-depth exploration of the uniforms, equipment, and organization of this the DAK. Bender explores the formation and early campaigns of the Afrikakorps in North Africa under the command of General Erwin Rommel, to its engagements against the British Eighth Army. The book offers information on the Afrikakorps' operations, tactics, and evolution throughout the war. This comes with nicely detailed photographs, maps, and informative descriptions. The book itself is in very good condition. They front and back cover shows very slight shelf wear, but the inside is very clean, except for the word, (name?) Large on the inside page, and a library stamp on the inside title page. This is a great book for those of you interested in the Afrika Campaign.
