US WWII Made M-1 Combat Helmet-This is an interesting, fixed bale example. It retains better than 90% of the rough textured exterior paint. It does have the front seam setup. The liner is original to the piece and is made by Firestone. The liner is WWII vintage, but has post war neck support and Vietnam era sweatband. This is a named example, as a matter of fact, it has two names. One says Thomas Hrasch and the second name which is on the leather is Bennett. This helmet is a beautiful example of a WWII helmet that was re-issued and used right up through the Vietnam period, and is exactly as it came to us.
