Very Early German WWII Model-34 Fire/Police Civic Helmet-This has the slanted decals which include the tri-color shield on the left-hand side which is 75% intact. The angled swastika on the right-hand side is a sound 90%. The glossy black paint is approx. 95% intact. This has significant cracks on the left side of the helmet which are the result of some type of a blunt object coming into contact with the aluminum shell. Very intriguing look to this piece. This originally had the aluminum comb, but this has been removed by the Germans. The size 58 liner with dome pad is in near excellent condition but does have a considerable amount of scuffs to the leather. This has the leather tongues for attaching the rear leather flap. The shell is nicely marked in the rear; please see the photos. This has a very good but worn leather chin strap. This is a desirable “type” helmet.
