It is a United States Army/Navy chemical long-delay tail fuse with an anti-withdrawal feature, used in American general-purpose aircraft bombs There is a rolled paper fuse in red at the top, and the underside of this has threads, so this would attach to the vane guided piece. The soldier who brought this back was with the Army ORD, and was called on to remove explosives. This fuse is stored in its original maroon colored cardboard box. The top of the box is broken along the edges, but this box is in overall, pretty good shape for being 88 years old. In fact, the fuse is marked and dated 1941. Again, this fuse is INERT. We were lucky enough to buy this from the son of a veteran. We will supply the name of the soldier to the buyer.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1141/9332/files/WW2_US_AN-123_Chemical_Long_Delay_Fuse_34990.jpg?v=1787074309
