The design of this buckle was very similar to the justice leader’s type one buckle, except this is gold. The fixed catch is also gilt finished brass. This is excellent. There is one spot of verdigris on the reverse, but this is not a distraction. These are beautiful buckles and this one is no exception. We purchased this buckle from the family of a veteran who brought it home.
