WW2 German Model 1942 Wehrmacht Combat Helmet, Named-This example has a dark field grey, textured combat finish that remains 80% intact overall. The interior featured a tan leather, size 59 liner. There is discoloration, wear, a few stains and tears. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1943 and size stamped 66/59. The rear skirt is stamped NS 66 indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 66. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number D 452. There is a name written in pencil in the skirt as well. A very good example!
