The rear seam transition happened in late 1944. It has sewn on chin straps as well making this helmet a WW2 produced shell seeing later usage into the Korean War. It has a heat stamp of what looks like 535A S and manufactured by\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eSchlueter.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe liner is also of WW2 production manufactured by Capac. It is complete but shows some age. The sweatband is a bit dry and there is some rusting to the clips as well as one tear. The liner has the soldiers service number beginning with RA putting this as post WW2.
