WWI Commemorative Butter Dish-This is produced in porcelain and has a separate lid which has script that reads “Butterdose aus den Kriegsjahren 1916/18.”. This translates to “Butter dish from the war years 1916/18”. There is a maker stamped onto the bottom of the dish. It measures 2 ½” tall by just under 5” in diameter. Minor discoloration, otherwise in fine condition!
