WWII German Army Administration Stabszahlmeister Model 1936 Field Tunic-This is privately purchased tunic is produced in field grey wool that is in very good condition, with a few tiny moth nips to go along with some minor wear and discoloration from use. There is a six button closure and the buttons are field grey finished pebbled metal. One button is missing. There are four pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There are French cuffs and a dark green badge cloth collar. The collar tabs are hand applied. They are an officer type with cloth columns and green litzen. There is white piping. The sew in shoulder boards are produced in matte grey flat wire with green stitching, a green underlay and a secondary underlay of white. There are two pips and an “HV” cipher which indicates that this officer was an stabszahlmeister (captain equivalent) of army infantry administration. The breast eagle is produced in bright silver bullion with silver flat wire highlights over green badge cloth. It is hand applied. There are ribbons for the EKII and Russian Front medals which are originally applied. There are loops for two awards and a medium sized ribbon bar. The medals include a Black Wound Badge and a DRL Sports Badge, which are included along with the ribbon bar. The interior is fully lined in green rayon which has minor wear and discoloration from use. There is a pocket on the left with a tailor tag just above. The tailor was Fritz Kronacker and the name inside the pocket is hard to read. What you can see is “Herr Stabszahlm”. There is also a slot and strap for an edged weapon. It is a size medium. Very good condition!
