WWII German Army Generals Visor Cap by eReL-This is a later war (post 1943) example. It is produced in super soft doe skin wool, field grey in color. It is excellent with every so slight wear only. The gold celleon piping is seen around the top panel as well as at the upper and lower edges of the dark green badge cloth center band. The insignia consists of a gold celleon eagle over dark green badge cloth. The wreath is of the same construction. The cockade is beautiful silver bullion. The nicely toned gold bullion chin cord is of course the officer style. There are gold finished pebbled metal buttons. The black vulkanfibre visor is slightly faded and the underside is finished in an orange brown hue with cross hatching. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon that is excellent. There is a rhomboid shaped moisture shield that is fully intact. There is a tan leather sweatband that is excellent and has the maker motto embossed. This reads eReL Patent Stirnschutz for their “pressure free forehead” system. The cap is a size 59. Excellent throughout!
