It is produced in a very soft field gray wool that is very clean. There are a few very minor areas of discoloration and some minor wear and some minor tracking in a few spots. It is double breasted with two rows of six field grey finished pebbled metal buttons. There are hip pockets with straight flaps. The collar is dark green badge cloth with a silver bullion twist rope piping at the front and lower edge. This was added at somepoint. At some point, a collector or someone else added an SS sleeve eagle to this coat. You can clearly see the outline of the eagle and, of course, where the shoulder boards and buttons once were. The interior is fully lined in a green rayon that has some wear but is clean. There is a single pocket on the left side. There is a tailor tag in the neck area. There is a slot with a strap and metal clip for an edged weapon. This is a size medium.
