WWII German Army Model 1936 Tunic for Artillery Officer-This is produced in field grey wool that is excellent. It has ever so slight wear only. There is a six button closure and all buttons are field grey finished pebbled metal. There are pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. The collar is dark green badge cloth and there are French cuffs. The collar tabs are neatly applied and have matte silver bullion columns over dark green badge cloth with red litzen. The sew in shoulder boards are matte silver flat wire with red badge cloth backing that doubles as the piping. This is for the rank of leutnant which is equivalent to a 2nd lieutenant. The breast eagle is silver bullion with bright silver flat wire highlights over dark green badge cloth. The left breast pocket has loops for a single award. There is a fantastic adjutant aiguillette that is included. It is correctly applied and attached via the button under the right shoulder board. The interior is fully lined green rayon. It is excellent with very minor wear only. There is a pocket on the left side to go along with a strap for an edged weapon. This is a large size. Excellent and desirable!
