WWII German Army Model 1935 Single Decal Reissue Combat Helmet-This is a stunner! The rough texture (all intact) field grey combat finish is 99% intact. There is one tiny spot on the top dome that has a little dollop of something, a drop of paint from the garage perhaps? This is tiny and barely detracts from the helmet as it is in incredible condition. The lightly toned and shellac covered decal is 97% intact. The size stamped 54 tan leather liner is a soft as the day it was new. It does have some minor scuffing around the lower edge. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. The size is ink stamped at the top of the dome in white ink. The side of the interior is stamped ET 62 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke in the size of 62. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 4178 indicating production some time in 1940. There is a brown leather chinstrap as well. It is very slightly shortened. Top shelf stuff with this one!
