WWII German Army Model 1942 Combat Helmet-This has a dark green combat finish that remains 60% intact. The army decal was deliberately covered and is visible under the paint. The leather liner has a lot of discoloration with minor wear but it remains soft. There is a zinc liner band. The side of the interior is stamped NS 64 indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 1673 indicating production in 1943. There is a brown leather chinstrap which is in fine condition, having minor wear only. A good example of this type!
