This one never had a decal. The interior is in good condition, with a tan leather liner that is lightly discolored and worn with some minor staining. It is size stamped 59 and the name of the soldier is hand written onto it. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1943 and size stamped 66\/59. The rear skirt of the interior is stamped CKL 66 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke of Thale in the size of 66. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number 4677. There is a brown leather chinstrap that is worn but complete.
