It is produced in soft, field grey wool. There is ever so slight wear and discoloration to the top panel, with minor tracking and a small nip at the front just above the center band. The top panel as well as the upper and lower edges of the dark green badge cloth center band are piped in pink for panzer personnel. The eagle and wreath are both silver finished aluminum. The cockade is also aluminum with a red felt bulls eye. There is an officer style silver bullion double chin cord with silver finished pebbled metal buttons. The visor is black vulkanfibre and in great condition. The underside is finished in an orange brown hue and crosshatched. The interior is fully lined in golden brown rayon that is as new. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield with the maker logo. The ersatz leather sweatband is a bit stiff (with a few tears) stiff so I did not attempt to take a peek underneath. The cap is a size 59.
