WWII German Army Panzer Wrapper for Officer-This is an excellent example of a very desirable combat tunic in the second pattern! It is produced in black wool that is super clean and has only very slight wear. All of the buttons are present. The collar tabs are black badge cloth with pink piping. The silver metal panzer skulls are applied with the prongs through the collar itself. The tabs are machine applied. The collar is piped in pink at the front and lower edges. The shoulder boards are the slip on type. They are for an oberleutnant. The face is matte grey flat wire and there is a single pip. The backing is pink badge cloth. The breast eagle is machine woven in white over black. It is neatly hand applied. There are ribbons in the button loop for a Russian Front Medal and the EKII. There are loops for three badges on the left side breast area. The interior is partially lined in grey cloth. There is extremely minor discoloration only. There are grey cloth straps for the belt hooks. There is a vertical pocket on the left side and a standard pocket on the right. The left side has very faint ink stamped markings. This includes size info, maker info and the date, ’38. It is a size medium. Excellent and very desirable!
