WWII German DAF Factory Flag for Holzhausen-This wonderful flag is produced in red bunting which is super clean! There are multiple, minor holes throughout the field. It is two sided, with each side having a multi piece cloth DAF motto which has very minor discoloration. Each side also has an 8 ½” by 6 ½” box in the top corner. This is produced in light brown badge cloth, piped in blue trim and contains the name of the town where the factory was, Holzhausen followed by the number 2. This is chain stitched in white cloth. Holzhausen is a municipality in the district of Rhein-Lahn, in Rhineland-Palatinate, in western Germany. The hoist end of the flag has seven nickel silver rings for a pole. Each of the rings is RZM marked with the date ’37. There is a silver fringe around all but the hoist end. A handsome piece that will make for a great display!
