WWII German Enlisted Ranks Combat Buckle and Leather Belt-This is a great display item! The buckle is pebbled aluminum with a green combat finish. The finish is POST WAR APPLIED and there is a bit of paint on the brown leather tab. The tab is maker marked (can’t read) and dated 1938. The belt is very nice! It is ever so slightly shortened from its original length. It is produced in dark brown leather which shows minimal wear. The steel catch has a green combat finish that is partially intact. The leather tongue is stamped with a capital “H”. The other end of the belt is maker marked and dated 1941. The rig measures 40” and will fit up to a 34 waist. Excellent display example!
