The cover is very clean and shows only light wear. The body is a little out of shape but responds well to a hat form. The tally is rayon, full length and has the generic “Kriegsmarine” script. The ends of the tally show discoloration so please see photos. The stick pin insignia features a gold gilt finished eagle with all of the finish intact. There is a handsome silvered and black zinc cockade below. The interior is fully lined in black rayon which has minor wear and discoloration from use. There was a moisture shield, but it is now missing. The ersatz leather sweatband is also missing. There are remnants of it remaining on the cap. The cap is a size \u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"\u003e54\u003c\/span\u003e. A good overall example with a few liabilities!
