The Gi that brought it home painted large red swastikas on each side plus a large Maltese cross on the front. The original blue grey finish remains mostly intact. Inside is a brown pigskin liner that is very stiff and has minor wear and discoloration plus there is some rust inside the dome. There is a zinc liner band and a drawstring. The liner band is maker marked, dated 1944 and size stamped 62\/55. There are marks at the rear skirt but they are illegible. There is a partial chin strap as well.
