The blue grey, smoothly applied finish remains 95% or so intact. The left side has a Luftwaffe eagle decal which is lightly toned and nearly fully intact. The right side has a tri color shield that is 95% intact. The brown leather liner, size 59, is in fine condition with minor wear, discoloration and scuffing from use. There is a zinc band and a drawstring. The side of the interior is stamped Q 66 indicating production by Quist in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 4780. There is a partial brown leather chinstrap that is missing a chunk off the end of the larger end.
