WWII German Model 1942 Luftwaffe Combat Helmet-This good-looking example has a blue grey rough texture combat finish that remains mostly intact. The Luftwaffe decal is 90% intact. Inside, the liner has been cut out. The liner band is zinc. It is dated 1942, maker marked and size stamped 64/56. The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke of Thale in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 2013 indicating production in 1942. A good display or resto candidate!
