WWII German Waffen SS NCO Model 1944 Tunic-This is produced in field grey wool that is excellent with extremely minor signs of wear or discoloration. There are trace hints of tracking only. There is a six-button closure and all buttons are field grey finished pebbled zinc. There are two large patch pockets with straight flaps. The lay down collar has silver NCO tresse at the front and lower edge. The collar tabs are original pieces that have been REAPPLIED TO THIS TUNIC. There were very clear signs of tabs having been on this tunic for a long time. There are straps and buttons for a set of slip on should boards but NONE ARE INCLUDED. The left sleeve has an original but REAPPLIED machine embroidered SS sleeve eagle. Same as the collar tabs, there was clear evidence of where the eagle once was. There are two sets of loops on the left pocket, one original and the other either soldier or collector done. There are two hooks for a belt. The interior is partially lined in green rayon which has minor wear and discoloration from use. The left side is marked with size and other info. There are markings on the bottom of the tunic, bolt number 751 stamped twice. It is a size medium. A great opportunity to acquire a scarcely found tunic!
