WWII Japanese Naval Landing Forces Helmet w/Cover, Named-This example is named to a member of a high angle anti-aircraft gun unit. The blue grey finish remains 90% intact. The metal insignia is in place at the front of the helmet. The cover is tan cloth with a yellow cloth anchor at the front. There is wear, tearing and discoloration to the cover. A majority of the wear is seen around the lower edge, where you would expect it to be. There is some staining to the white cloth lining inside the cover as well. The leather three pad liner is present. All but one of the pads is separated from the shell. The drawstring is missing. One of the pads has kanji writing on it. This is where the name and unit info are seen as well as at the rear skirt of the shell. Fresh out of an advanced European collection. Good condition!
