We are unsure what branch this may be from. There is a stenciled name to the front of the helmet… C.H.T. C. H. Temple. The helmet still retains much of its original OD paint. It is a front seam and fixed bale with a heat number of 161putting this helmet at a first half of 1942 production. There is one stress crack on the front of helmet. The chin straps are intact with brass hardware. On the side there is some faded red paint.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe helmet is adorned with a helmet net that looks to of been dyed or painted black.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe liner is manufactured by Inland.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIt has its original OD paint and missing the nape strap. It shows some use but in very good condition. We will call this a mid war production liner based on the components.
