WWII US M-1 Helmet, Named-This example was produced by Schleuter. The rough texture, OD finish is most intact to the exterior. It is a front seam, fixed bale example with tan canvas chinstrap that has brass hardware. The liner is produced by CAPAC. The finish to the exterior of the liner is completely missing. The tan suspension has some discoloration and wear but it is fully intact. Same for the leather sweatband. The leather chinstrap is present and in fine condition. It is named in a few spots to R.P. Gresley and his laundry number is seen in a few spots as well, G-4539. A fine original example overall!
