WWII US Medical Officer’s Surgical Field Kit Roll w/Contents- This is a WWII U. S. Medical Officer's Case Field Surgical Kit Roll. It comes complete with some original and some replaced contents. Marked: MEDICAL OFFICERS CASE between the two snaps that hold it closed. The inside has slots for the various tools, complete with ink stamped outlines to aid in packing. It is also maker marked: SUPERIOR SURGICAL / MFG CO. INC. / ITEM-NO-97051. It appears that some of the contents were added but are original and correct. The only thing missing is a pair of scissors, replaced by a different tool. There are suture packets and surgical needles as well. A neat accessory!
