German WWII HJ Knife w/Motto by Gebrüder Christians (Christianswerk, Solingen)-This is a seldom seen maker. The nickel-plated fittings are approx. 85% intact. Both black checkered grip plates are good, they do show some use as there are a few dents on the obverse. The enameled Hitler youth diamond looks good, but there is a small crack on the left side of the diamond, the white is missing a chunk of enamel, so please see photos. The steel scabbard retains the majority of its black paint. The tip has a coating of rust, and this looks to be from how it was stored. The blade has a nice deep motto.  As usual, the blade has been sharpened by the original owner. This blade also shows some pitting throughout. It is minor, but we want to make you aware of it. The leather buffer is missing under the crossguard. The blade has the rare Christian’s logo, with maker details and the ges.Geschützt. The brown leather retaining strap is in place and looks very good.
