German WWII Sleeve Shield for the Croation SS-The Croation legionary division was first formed in August of 1942 and officially became a unit in February of 43. It was composed mainly of Bosnian Muslims (ethnic Bosniaks) and Catholic Croats, with German and Yugoslav Volksdeutsche officer, making a very interesting division that is worth doing a deep google dive on. This patch is in very good condition. It is unissued. This is a BeVo weave in a red and white checked shield, on a black wool backing. This is in very good condition.
