Veteran Bring Back German WWII 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS "Handschar" (Croatian Number 1) Collar Tab (13. Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS, Kroat. Nr.1)-This is a very good example of this Divisional tab, with its distinctive scimitar-wielding hand and mobile swastika. This was acquired from a US Army Officerwho was at Dachau when it was liberated. Included with the purchase will be the name of the veteran and a photo of the veteran. It is machine embroidered in silvery grey thread on the soft napped black wool/felt tab face. The buckram stiffener on the reverse has some damage, but the collar tab overall is in very good condition. A unique offering.
