Document Grouping to Paratrooper Gefreiter Johann "Hans" Kapeller-The grouping consists of the following:

1) Award document for the Fallschirschützenabzeichen (Paratrooper Badge) issued in Berlin on 23 September 1942. Document has a facsimile signature of Generalleutnant Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf (awarded the German Cross in Gold on 21 April 1943; committed suicide in Berchtesgaden on 4 May 1945);

2) Award document for the Eiserne Kreuz 2. Klasse (Iron Cross 2nd Class) issued to Kapeller on 7 June 1943. The document reveals that Kapeller was a member of the 14./Fallschirmäger-Regiment 4(14th Company of Paratrooper Regiment 4) of the 7. Flieger-Division (7th Airborne Division), which was previously engaged in Witebsk and Smolensk. The document is signed by Generalmajor Richard Heidrich (Knight's Cross with Oak leaves and Swords, German Cross in Gold), the divisional commander of the 7. Flieger-Division;

3) Award document for the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber (Wound Badge in Silver) dated 10 June 1943, showing that Kapeller was wounded for the fourth time on 20 March 1943 while serving with the 14./Fallschirmjager-Regiment 4. The document is signed by the Chief Medical Doctor at Reserve Hospital IV in Regensburg.
