Paratrooper Document Grouping to Martin Schmieder-The grouping consists of the following:

1) Award document for the Medaille zur Erinnerung den 1. Oktober 1938 (Medal in Remembrance of 1 October 1938), commonly known as the Sudetenland Medal. The document was issued in Wien (Vienna) on 6 September 1939 by authority of the Chief of Air Fleet 4 and Southeast Commander, General der Flieger Löhr. Signed by a Major of a Luftwaffe signal regiment;

2) Preliminary award document the Rumanian Medal for the Crusade Against Communism issued on 10 May 1942; document is signed by a Leutnant (2nd Lieutenant) and Adjutant of Feldpostnummer (Field Mail Number) 26162 (Luftverteidigungs-Nachrichten-Abteilung 6, or Air Defense Signal Battalion 6);

3) Award document for the Fallschirmschützenabzeichen (Paratrooper Badge) issued in Berlin on 25 August 1942. Document has a facsimile signature of General der Flieger (Full General of Flying Troops) Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf (awarded the German Cross in Gold on 21 April 1943; committed suicide in Berchtesgaden on 4 May 1945).
