Choice 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by WKC-This exquisite blade was brought home by a Army Major. We purchased it directly from his daughter. This has the airplane gray fittings with a ton of detail. The exterior is in choice condition. The pumpkin orange handle is perfect with its silver grip wire in place. The scabbard also rates excellent. It has a terrific gray tone that matches the fittings, strong details and is damage free. The blade is uncleaned; you can see faint remnants of the factory cross graining. There is also some pitting to the blade, midway down, just above the tip, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. This dagger comes with a properly tied silver bullion knot. This would make a fun research project as well as getting a terrific dagger. We shall supply the name of the officer to the buyer.
