German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Paul Weyersberg-This is a super nice dagger. The airplane gray nickel fittings have excellent detail, with plating that is 95% in place. This has a light orange celluloid handle that is very good. It has its darkly toned twisted wire wrap in place. The celluloid handle one very light scratch (not a crack) in the center of the reverse, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. The leather buffer remains in place under the crossguard. The pebbled scabbard is near excellent, with a tone that matches the upper fittings. The scabbard is dent free including the rounded tip. The blade is excellent as well. This has the Paul Weyersberg logo, and a Luftwaffe luftamt (inspector code for inspector 5) below this. It is the stick eagle with the number 5 inside, meaning this blade was made in the city of Solingen, after 1937. This is an excellent example of a 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger. WON’T LAST LONG!
