German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger by Alcoso-This is a handsome example. The airplane gray finish is very good. It shows excellent details with white celluloid handle with twisted wire wrap in place. The celluloid handle is also in very good condition with no damage. The leather buffer remains in place under the crossguard. The pebbled scabbard is near excellent, with a darker tone that matches the upper fittings. The blade is excellent as well. This has the Alcoso scales logo on the reverse. This has a correctly tied silver bullion officer’s knot that shows wear and fraying where it is tied to the crossguard. Other than this, the silver bullion is very good. This is a very good example of a 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger.
