German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger-This is a handsome offering. The very white celluloid handle does show slight wear. You can see that there are spots where the white has worn off and you can see portions of the celluloid handle below. It retains its toned silver twisted grip wire. The details of the pommel and crossguard are very nice. They retain the majority of their airplane gray finish, with strong detailed to the pommel swastika. The leather buffer remains in place under the crossguard. The scabbard has darkened to a nice dark gray color, which makes the pebbling, and the fitting details really stand out. The scabbard has one small dent on the lower portion. The blade is unmarked, and other than a small spot of pitting, and in and out marks, is good condition overall. This is a handsome dagger and priced to sell.
