German WWII Bayonet for 98K Rifle-This is matched set. A good example and is a matching set. Both the blade and scabbard are stamped with 2340. The blade is marked 41ASW for the year of manufacture and the maker E&F Hörster. The finish on the hilt and the scabbard is missing for the most part and there is very slight rust on the scabbard. This could clean up should you choose to do so. The grip plates are made of a brown ribbed bakelite material. The blade has a good portion of the bluing intact. This is complete with a brown leather frog that is also in good shape.
