German WWII Long Model Dress Bayonet by Eickhorn-This is a beautiful example with the nickel plating on the hilt being 95%. This has the red felt in the slot, meaning this bayonet would be worn by an artillery man. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in perfect condition. The scabbard retains approx. 90% of its original black enamel finish. There is a scuff mark midway on the obverse. The blade is in very good condition with the Eickhorn 1935-41 logo. This is complete with its original black patent leather frog that shows wear on the reverse, this is not a distraction as this frog is in good shape. Overall, this bayonet is near excellent.
