Veteran Bring Back German WWII SA Fully Ground Rohm by Henckels-This has a gorgeous blade. It is a nice early example with nickel fittings. The finish on the pommel, and crossguard is intact and nicely toned to a pewter color. The crossguard is marked with for the Gruppe “Bo”, for Bayerische Ostmark. The wooden handle is a nice fit, and a few scuffs and two small spots of white paint is otherwise, near excellent. The nickel silver eagle has toned to the same pewter color of the fittings. The SA Runic button is clear with excellent enameling. The anodized scabbard is also near excellent. The nickel fittings on the scabbard have that same toned, untouched, color giving this piece an excellent look. The blade a beauty, with a deep motto on the obverse, and of course the totally ground Rohm inscription on the reverse. This SA man was not taking any chances and it looked like he did his own grounding in the wood shed out in back of his home! Above this is the Henckels dancing men logo. We were lucky enough to purchase this from the family of a veteran. We will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer. This is a gorgeous untouched example!
