German WWII FF33 (Feldfernspreher 33) Field Phone-This is the standard issue German WWII field phone. It is cased in a nice red bakelite case that measures approximately 10 ½ inches (26.67cm) across by 9 inches (22.86cm) high and 3 ¼ inches (8.255cm) wide. The brown/red mottled bakelite case is in near excellent condition. All components appear to be in place, including the ever elusive crank. The bakelite handset is unmarked as far as I can see. On the top of the box components, under where the hand set sits, you can see the word ”Pruftaste” with a waffenamt. This is not a maker name; this is generator test button. This set has a very nice maker logo under the lid, that reads FR Reiner. You can also see this FR with the date 42, on the phone body. This is in very good condition. This is heavy, it weighs 11lbs (4.9kg) so extra shipping will apply.
