German WWII Marching Compass-This compass is for display purposes only. This example is made of a combination of black bakelite material with a metal lid which has the mirror on the underside. It still works! The mirror shows some discoloration to the sides. This does have some liabilities, so please take note. The glass that covers the directional device is a replacement, and is not glued into the compass, so it pops out, and as the device just sits on the pin, there is a danger the directional device can fall out and get lost. This makes a good display piece only. The neck string/rope is still present. This is not maker marked, but the bakelite markings are present on the bottom. Overall, in good condition. Priced to sell.
